1.1 Game Update is Live!


Hey everyone!

It took me a bit longer to release this update due to balancing work and gamedev, but I’ve finally updated both the web and PC versions! Thanks for your patience and continued support!

As always, I’m open to feature requests and suggestions, so if there’s something you’d love to see in the game, let me know—I’m reading all of them!

🔥 What’s New in 1.1.?

  • New revive item: Defibrillator! ⚡ Revives with 10% HP and mutates up to 10 non-mutant, non-medic bricks into Medic bricks!
  • PC version (Paid): After triggering a linebreak on the targeted line, there’s now a third option for more strategic plays.
  • When pressing the Revive button on the Game Over screen, a dialog will now appear for purchasing revive items if you don't have anything available—so you can get back in the game even after the game ends!
  • Upgraded the game engine from Godot 4.3 to 4.4 for better performance!
  • Swap button added above the Tool Button. You can now switch tools faster before the game starts!
  • SFX On/Off button added! (SFX icon now uses the previous BGM icon, while BGM has a new one.)
  • Item Bar on-cooldown clarity: Items will now appear grayed out when the item bar is on cooldown.
  • New Tools unlock notification—no more guessing when you unlock something new!
  • Drag Assist: Now behaves differently depending on the platform.
  • New in-game background effects for extra visual flair.
  • Bugfix: Armor Plate now displays correctly on the Item Bar.
  • Bugfix: Busterrr meter no longer appears after reviving in Challenge: Powerless.
  • Optimized line streak effect code for better performance.

🔧 Small Changes & Tweaks

  • Multi-linebreak Heal is now called Multi-linebreak Refresh for clarity.
  • New notification message when using an item for the first time.
  • Version coding format slightly changed.

🚧 In Development

  • Share Button: Now captures a screenshot just before the game ends! (Feature is still disabled for now.)
  • Landscape mode: Still in progress—it’s taking time due to the way the game scene is structured.
